A Truth Journal: Brian Williams Returns to the MSNBC Newsroom: Welcome Back!: From Denny:  Turns out that friend and boss, Andrew Lauk, over at NBC believes in second chances for good people like Brian Williams.  Well, so do I.  It's past due time for Brian Williams to come out of the cold and be welcomed back into society.  He's paid his dues, suffered embarrassment and financial and status demotion.  How much more do the Boo Birds and Jealous Journalists want?  Those odious crowds would want blood if the network was stupid enough to give it to them.

Congrats on your comeback, Brian.  Ignore the jealous petty journalists in the newsroom.  The news industry is filled to overflowing with jealous petty people, just take a glance over at The New York Times, CNN and Fox newsrooms for starters.  No surprise they exist at NBC and MSNBC.  Two words to all of them:  grow up!  And, while I'm at it dishing out advice to toxic people:  be careful the meanness you visit upon others does not come back to visit your life because it surely will...

When economic times and society get hard pressed what is the one thing you can do about all the wrong going on around you?  You can be a friend.  You can slow down, even come to a full stop on your own life, and look around to see what is happening in your vicinity.

To address the needs, think of offering some real friendship and mentor those around you.  You will be surprised how many people will tell you how glad they are you took time for them as they thought no one would ever notice how much they were struggling.  It could be at work, at church, your neighborhood, the local grocery store, anywhere.  Offering the fact that you care is often the most appreciated.

Then it's on to artistic creative photographers trying to figure out how to capture the theme of the day. It's tough to come up with something new and different for such an overdone theme as hearts. I especially like the ones of men walking across great distances in the cold weather clutching flowers for their ladies.

There are crafters and artists with creative turns on the theme, with links to their blogs. Not to be missed are the cupcake, cake and coffee food photos. One is a plate of rose petals with a fork.

Be sure to click on the photos to go to the photographers' flickr pages and blogs where they discuss their art process or the situation for the photo.

I sure had fun going through 2700 photos to do this post because so many made me laugh and others were food for inspiration. Happy Valentine's Day!
