A Truth Journal: Beau Biden: He Gave Politics - And Humanity - A Good Name: From Denny:  Beau Biden, a rare person in politics, government or anywhere:  he was known as a person of exceptionally good character.  Many of us are saddened at his passing as much as his family.  When we lose a person of such goodness and moral strength who spent his life in service to his country and his family we are all reminded of his example for all of us to do better.

From Denny:  Voters for the Democrats, and Republicans alike, are looking all around for a political leader who will, well, lead.  Fourteen years of unadulterated insensitivity and outright political inaction geared toward the majority of the country have all combined to create a ground swell of bitter resentment and grousing that hasn't been seen in decades in this country against both political parties, especially the Republicans.

The Middle Class is fed up with insincere speeches on economic progress, the drumbeat to go to war with ground troops yet again in the Middle East and lame political platitudes on every domestic issue. The Middle Class is disgusted and angry with Wall Street hand holding.  Voters of both political parties are angry with the gentle wrist slapping of cheap fines for business crimes instead of jail time.  Most of all The Middle Class is furious at the overt Good Ol' Boy Winks of government collusion that continues to create an environment of a stagnant U. S. economy and the constant evaporation of well paying jobs in favor of feeding The Beast of Greedy Corporate Profits while starving the people...

A Truth Journal: NSA Leaker Snowden: Time To Bring Him Home Safely Without Delay: From Denny:  Well, for the moment the assassins were called off taking out Snowden and they sure were surprised as that was a new one to them.

War dogs don't enjoy being told to heel, especially when one group had Snowden in their cross hairs.  Snowden has some fierce warrior angels looking out for him these days.  He had better appreciate them because they are protecting him on their own time.

Adding to the international drama stupidity, the typical idiot response from China is talking openly about kidnapping Snowden to torture him for details.  Let me share a thought with China.  Kidnapping Snowden is NOT in China's best interest...

A Truth Journal: Military Sexual Assaults: Finally Time For Entire Pentagon Chiefs to Resign?: From Denny:  After a damning report that revealed 26,000 sexual assaults just in 2012 alone, you would think someone over at the Pentagon would resign in shame.

After 3400 plus officially reported cases that actually went up the chain of command from a few brave commanders not willing to cover it up, there were only 190 of those 3400 plus sexual assaults and rapes that went to court.  No one resigned in shame for this pathetic record...

A Truth Journal: XL Keystone Pipeline: Why Should America Take All The Risks and No Benefits?: From Denny:  Once again greedy Big Business seeks to hang the American taxpayers with all the liabilities - while they make billions in profits, free to walk away when it goes bad.

The XL Keystone Pipeline is a huge boondoggle that comes out of Canada.  Apparently, the Canadian firm, TransCanada, along with some American energy partners sum up their business mantra in one chant, "Let the Americans pay for it!"

Our State Department has been on a fool's errand writing up a study on the impact on America's environment, concluding it would not be a problem, in order to act like they are satisfying the environment folks.  As usual, everyone rivets their focus upon the distraction, taking their eye off the obvious.

A Truth Journal: Stupid Grilling of Sec. Clinton on Benghazi: Funny Colbert and Jon Stewart Weigh In: From Denny:   .... Both sides were overkill.  In the end, the Democrats looked a bit silly.  It was the Republicans that came across smelling like 10 day old roadkill on a hot summer's night.

Sec. Clinton handled herself with diplomacy, strength of conviction and principles - and smart political maneuvering.  She's ready for a run in 2016.  And these idiot Republicans may just have given her cause to do so.  Those guys never learn.

If you get arrested for a speeding ticket, jaywalking, a bell too quiet on your bicycle and other minor offences, then you all get arrested and strip searched by the police as a matter of regular procedure. Yes, America has entered the world of the outrageous.

America, as you know it, no longer exists as we are now officially a police state.  Americans have lost the majority of our rights - like civil rights, privacy rights, and just about everything else they could take.  All our rights have slowly eroded since 9/11 out of the fear of terrorism.

Police now possess sweeping, authoritarian, unlimited, absolute powers to do whatever they like to you, your spouse, your family, your children, your friends because it is all at the discretion of the police.  If a cop is having a bad day then expect yours to get a lot worse too because there is nothing to stop him.

President Obama made yet more promises to get votes. If these promises are anything like his last three years of promises, then don't go looking for anything to happen at all.


When the promise details are out of public sight for this Obama administration, then that means the promises are out of their mind to get done. With Team Obama it's all about sounding the right tone, delivering the inspirational speech, then sitting down on the job and turning their attention away from the country's dire problems, hoping no one is watching.
